Blessed

I'm about 30+ weeks pregnant now. Haven't feel like myself lately not sure if it's due to pregnancy hormone or having to deal with constant back pain that has been bothering me but God is good as always. He reminded me through the Beatitudes in Matthew 5 this morning: to be content and thankful for everyday gift that God has blessed me.

Matthew 5 (The Message)

You're Blessed
3"You're blessed when you're at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule. 4"You're blessed when you feel you've lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.
5"You're blessed when you're content with just who you are—no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought. 6"You're blessed when you've worked up a good appetite for God. He's food and drink in the best meal you'll ever eat.
7"You're blessed when you care. At the moment of being 'care-full,' you find yourselves cared for. 8"You're blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world. 9"You're blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That's when you discover who you really are, and your place in God's family.
This morning, I started my list of one thousand gift – watching, recording, and naming all the sweet little gifts that God bestows each and every day that we so often pass by without a second thought.

O Lord I give thanks for:
1. Sunny California weather
2. A place to live and call home
3. Silly, healthy, chatty, and playful kid who currently ask me to sing "Hallelu Hallelu... Hallelu.... Hallelujah..." along with him
4. Super active baby inside me
5. Emotionally stable, caring, and responsible husband
6. Chicken soup I just cooked for lunch
7. Fresh fruits from the weekend Farmer Market
8. My mom who is able to come for at least a month after the baby born
9. Handy husband who is able to fix a leaking pipe
10. The F family who generously lend us their unused bread machine, pregnancy clothes, and baby clothes
11. The K family who invite us for delicious Chinese New Year dinner at their home
12. Our church who provide lunch last Sunday that way we don't have to eat out :P
13. Every precious second I spend with Max: teaching, reading, training, kissing, hugging, and cleaning after him.
